Encouragement. Why it is necessary to encourage your brothers and sisters in Christ.

God has been giving me an awareness of what it truly means to encourage another in his Spirit. When we are living in this world, we will be tempted to act like the world, but when we keep our mind on Jesus, we can and will flow in the ways of him. As believers, we are to help remind ourselves and those around us that God needs us to keep our mind on him! We are to encourage our brothers and sisters in Christ to love God with all their heart and love all people.

Speaking from experience, there were times when I was down, discouraged, tired and needed some encouragement and prayer. God has given me true friends that not only care about my well being but my soul. He has allowed them to speak his words in my life and I have opened myself up to them to receive it. I know I can not walk this walk alone and I need encouragement from those God put in my life to carry on his will!

If you are praying to be used, God may be calling you to encourage others more. We are called for a purpose daily and that one purpose is to encourage our family, friends and those who God put in our lives to keep pushing, pressing towards the goal of our salvation in Christ and to pursue a lifestyle of holiness and purity so God can continue to work through our vessels.

It's so easy to give up, but it takes a strong person to keep going forward and then bring others with them to go forward. God needs us to uplift, inspire and speak the truth in all who come in our way.

You speaking life into someone can change their whole world or a situation. Being sensitive to the Holy Spirit and the word he may give you can make one truly give their all to GOD. Souls will be saved and lives will be changed by you using your mouth and tongue to speak life to those who needs it!

 1 Thessalonians 5:11,
Therefore comfort each other and edify one another, just as you also are doing.

1 Thessalonians 5:14-15,
Now we exhort you, brethren, warn those who are unruly, comfort the fainthearted, uphold the weak, be patient with all.
15 See that no one renders evil for evil to anyone, but always pursue what is good both for yourselves and for all.

It is our responsibility to lead all into their purpose as believers. We are our brothers and sisters keepers.

Ask God today, what can I do to help encourage and inspire those around me to pursue you and their purpose in life. Use me for your glory by speaking life into others.

God loves you and desires to use you for his glory!
